Hello Everyone!
In this reflection, we are assigned to chose the best mock teaching teacher. It's really hard for me to choose one because each and every teacher have done their best. Each of them had their own unique strengths that captured our attention during their respective mock teaching. Some of them have come out with interesting games and songs, even some of them are good in voice projection, rewards such as Toblerone Chocolate and also homework😬. Hurrmmm....I'm in hard time now to choose who's is the best presenter for mock teaching. In my point of view, I think Sivasangakary was the best presenter for the mock teaching. Here is the picture of her during the mock teaching.
The reasons why I love her teaching was because of her voice projection and the way she conducts the class without letting us to feel the boringness. She begins her teaching with a crossword puzzle as a hook for the students' attention and from there she introduced the topic that she is going to teach. Besides that, the pedagogical methods used by her was really awesome. The chapter that she chooses to teach was Sets. She drew the diagrams of sets on a Mahjong paper and start to teach. She showed some examples of sets. She also used PowerPoint slides to explain what is sets. Below are the pictures taken during her mock teaching.
She also carried out a class activity where all of us are divided into two groups. After completing the activity, she asked us to paste it at the whiteboard and then discussed the questions with us. Siva had the best teaching pedagogy-shows that she has the potential of being a great teacher. I really liked how she was well prepared, her confidence level was high and the best thing was she gave us an enjoyable experience. Great job Siva ! 👍
